Concussion management
UT Health San Antonio’s sports medicine experts provide comprehensive care for concussion-related health concerns. Our board-certified physicians have advanced training in diagnosing and treating sports- and exercise-related concussions using evidence-based evaluation and treatment approaches tailored to each patient’s needs.
Most care is non-surgical and provided directly in our clinics. Our sports medicine team also collaborates with physical therapists, school athletic trainers and specialists in orthopedics, physical medicine and primary care to ensure coordinated care throughout recovery.
We offer appointments Monday through Friday at several locations across San Antonio, as well as a walk-in Saturday Sports Medicine Clinic at UT Health at Kyle Seale Parkway from 8 a.m. to noon.
