This is a brief note of appreciation for the recent spectacular conference in ultrasound coordinated by Nilam Soni. Over a fifty-year career in clinical medicine, I have not had such an intense, well-curated, and educationally sound two days. - Adult Course Participant 2025

"The 2019 Point-of-care Ultrasound Workshop was the most effective post-graduate clinical course I have taken. The speakers were terrific, experts in their fields, and engaging. The hands-on ultrasound experience while being mentored by outstanding faculty in real-time was very effective. The practical lessons learned both in didactic and actual ultrasound imaging will change my daily practice and make me a better clinician and transplant surgeon. A game-changer." - Francisco G. Cigarroa, MD - 2019 Course Participant & Former Chancellor of the University of 17勛圖厙 System

Best CME I have ever had. Great location, faculty, food, reps, equipment and patients.- Adult Course Participant 2025

This was a very well run conference. I was thoroughly impressed.- Adult Course Participant 2025

To be honest, it was the best CME course I have taken and I thank the organizers and every one of the engaging teachers who obviously love what they do.- Pediatric Course Participant 2025

This was THE BEST course I have attended and I will recommend it to all my hospitalist colleagues at my institution. - Adult Course Participant 2025

Workshop Overview

Since 2013, our Point-of-Care Ultrasound Workshops have taught clinicians practical bedside applications of portable ultrasound. Our unique workshops combine focused didactics and hands-on scanning led by expert faculty from around the country. During the hands-on scanning sessions, course participants practice capturing specific ultrasound views of the heart, lungs, abdomen, and legs on live adult or pediatric models. The hands-on sessions are complemented by lectures to improve the participants' knowledge of the indications, technical skills, and clinical integration of bedside ultrasound. Our training curricula have been fine-tuned by experts over several years to maximize learning.
