Kirsten Eom, PhD, appointed to Institutional Faculty Advisory Board

Kirsten Eom, PhD, a faculty member in the Department of Health Policy and Health Services Administration at the Kate Marmion School of Public Health, has been appointed to the newly established Institutional Faculty Advisory Body (IFAB) at 17³Ô¹ÏÍø. The IFAB was formed following recommendations of the Academic, Student and Faculty Affairs Task Force. It serves as a key forum for faculty perspectives, feedback, and recommendations, bringing together 36 faculty members from across 17³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s academic and health campuses. This integrated advisory body aligns with state laws, University of 17³Ô¹ÏÍø System guidance, and Regents Rules to support the combined faculty of 17³Ô¹ÏÍø as it integrates with the regional health schools.

Eom will represent the Kate Marmion School of Public Health for a staggered two-year term from September 1, 2026, to August 2028. The staggered term structure was designed to ensure continuity across the body's advisory efforts. Eom looks forward to participating in constructive institutional dialogue and helping to shape the future of the newly integrated university through meaningful faculty engagement.
