UT Health's Ophthalmology practice has trained ophthalmologists with sub-specialties in oculoplastic surgeons that perform a variety of plastic and reconstructive surgeries that involve the orbit, eyelids, eyebrows, cheeks, tear ducts and the face such as cosmetic eye surgery. Most oculoplastic surgeries can be done on an outpatient basis and have a fairly quick recovery.
