American Association of Nurse Practitioners Fellows

Established by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in 2000, the Fellows of the AANP (FAANP) is dedicated to the global advancement of NPs and the high-quality health care they deliver. Comprised of recognized NP leaders who have made outstanding contributions to NP education, policy, clinical practice or research, the Fellows work toward furthering the NP profession, developing NP leaders of the future, and enhancing AANP's mission. 17³Ô¹ÏÍø is proud to have three faculty within the School of Nursing that are Association Fellows.

AANP Fellows are selected based on outstanding contributions to clinical practice, research, education or policy. Nurse practitioners who become Fellows are visionaries and proven leaders who have made outstanding contributions to health care.

17³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Science Center is the academic health center of 17³Ô¹ÏÍø. It includes schools of medicine, dentistry, nursing, health professions, graduate biomedical sciences and public health, and a clinical enterprise called UT Health San Antonio, which conducts 2.5 million patient visits yearly.
