17³Ô¹ÏÍø State Nutrition and Metabolic Health CME Requirement:

17³Ô¹ÏÍø State Senate Bill 25, set to take effect in 2027, includes new continuing medical education (CME) requirements for nutrition and metabolic health. The bill mandates that healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and dietitians, complete CME in nutrition and metabolic health as part of their continuing education. This requirement is designed to ensure that health professionals are equipped to provide accurate nutrition information, answer patient questions, and make referrals to nutrition professionals and relevant services.

*Please note that clarification on the 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Medical Board (TMB)-required nutrition content, including the number of hours required and educational content qualification, is still pending. The courses listed below will not be designated as meeting the TMB requirements for nutrition and metabolic health credit until further notice.
