Hunaiza Ather

Hunaiza AtherHunaiza Ather was born in India and grew up in Dubai. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) degree in India before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) at the University of Colorado in 2015. With over 10 years of experience, Dr. Ather has practiced as a caring and skilled general dentist in both community health and private practices in 17³Ô¹ÏÍø and Virginia. She is passionate about continuous learning, providing excellent patient care, and giving back to the community.

Dr. Ather feels privileged to be part of the 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Endodontic Program. In her free time, she loves hiking, traveling, and enjoying quality time with her husband, an alumnus of UT Health San Antonio, and their cheerful 7-year-old son.

17³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Science Center is the academic health center of 17³Ô¹ÏÍø. It includes schools of medicine, dentistry, nursing, health professions, graduate biomedical sciences and public health, and a clinical enterprise called UT Health San Antonio, which conducts 2.5 million patient visits yearly.
