Ali Heydary
Dr. Ali Heydary, a native of Cary, North Carolina, graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Finance and a minor in Biology. His passion for dentistry led him to pursue his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, followed by advanced education in general dentistry at the University of 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Heydary founded DYOR Clinic, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to provide oral healthcare to under-resourced adults. His mission is to reduce barriers to care and relieve patients from dental pain, particularly in underserved communities.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Heydary is skilled in a wide range of dental procedures, including root canals, implants, crowns, and Invisalign treatments. He’s an active member of professional organizations such as the American Association of Endodontists and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Heydary enjoys giving back to the community, serving as an adjunct faculty member at the UNC School of Dentistry, and engaging in outdoor activities like fishing and hiking. He’s also an avid soccer fan and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
