About Me

I was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where I completed my B.S. in Neuroscience with a minor in Theology at the University of St. Thomas ('23), graduating magna cum laude and earning multiple academic honors. My prior research spans mouse models of frontotemporal dementia, including work on kinase CK2 as a modulator of tauopathy, as well as behavioral studies in invasive carp. My current research involves ferroptosis in neurodegenerative diseases. Outside of the lab, I’ve been playing piano for over 15 years, I love to stay active, and in early 2026 I became a dog parent!
