About Me

I am from Omaha, Nebraska, where I grew up as the oldest of 5 boys. Following high school, I served a full-time proselytizing mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Montréal, Canada. After returning from my mission, I completed a BS in Cell Biology and Physiology at Brigham Young University with a minor in French. As is reflective of these degrees, I became involved in two different intellectual endeavors during my undergraduate years—biological aging and linguistics. I came to San Antonio with the intention of continued development in both fields.
