17³Ô¹ÏÍø

Benjamin Hyde grew up in Northeast Ohio where he harbored his love of history, reading, and local sports.  He began his service at 17³Ô¹ÏÍø as Assistant Professor of Education after ten years as a teacher, coach and administrator. 

His passion lies in developing instruction and systems that engage all learners and instill lifelong love for content.  He believes that effective teachers begin with an asset-based mindset and encourage students to grow into who God designed them to be.  

In his role, Professor Hyde teaches undergraduate courses, supervises pre-service teachers, and oversees the Secondary Education program.
