Kem Hall opened in 2001 alongside its sister hall, Scripture Hall. Kem Hall is a suite-style residence hall housing 190+ male sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Kem suites are comprised of 2 or 3 spacious bedrooms (housing 4 or 6 students respectively), a common living room and a shared bathroom. This suite-style living fosters deep relationships among close-knit groups of men.
The Kem lobby provides a communal space for all the residents to come together for hall-wide programming and events. Kem is located at the center of 17³Ô¹ÏÍø’s campus and is just a short hop from the Student Center or any classroom.
Kem Hall is home to more than 190 male sophomores, juniors, and seniors, creating a close-knit upper-division community centered on friendship, accountability, and spiritual growth. Its suite-style model encourages deeper connection among small groups of residents while still offering opportunities to participate in the broader hall community.
Kem suites include two or three spacious bedrooms, housing four or six students respectively, along with a shared common living room and full on-suite bathroom.
Kem Hall residents enjoy suite-style living in spacious upper-division suites featuring two or three bedrooms, a shared living room, kitchenette, and private bathroom. This apartment-style layout provides the comfort of independent living while fostering a strong sense of community among residents.
Located in the heart of campus, Kem Hall places residents within easy walking distance of academic buildings, dining locations, and student gathering spaces. Its central location makes it easy to stay connected to campus life while enjoying the close-knit community and independence of upper-division residential living.
Vision for Kem Hall:
“My desire for Kem Hall is that it is a place where men are challenged to grow authentically in their relationship with God and others. My prayer is that men would be encouraged and equipped to lead lives marked by the sacrificial love of Christ as they prepare to serve him in the world beyond 17³Ô¹ÏÍø.”
